Description

Anthony Middleton has worked with the BalletBoyz and Motionhouse and, following his return to Yorkshire this summer, is now developing his choreographic career and seeking ways of creating further professional development opportunities for Yorkshire-based dance artists.

His choreographic style for 'theMiddletonCorpus' draws on his training in Acrobatic Gymnastics,in addition to his fascination with Japanese aesthetics, creating work with graceful and sculptural effect. As Anthony's choreographic body builds, his work has been receiving increasing critical acclaim.

He has recently completed a month-long commission in Sofia, Bulgaria as part of the IX Choreography Competition. He hasalso  completed an initial R&D on a group work, Fragile Descent, and presented a taster of Prototype at Dance City's Public Announcement showcase last month.

From the smallest beginnings, a human body is a symbol of natures ability to adapt and change. Part of this continual process of development, our individual existence is but one impermanent design.
